How do I cancel my membership?

You can also log into your Paypal account and  under “Profile” there is a section called the Pay List where you will see the subscription and have the option of canceling. Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds or returns on club yarns – they are dyed to order and are special colorways for the club.

I need to change my address!

I use what you have entered into PayPal to ship your club package so make sure your info is correct to ensure you receive your package. If you change your info please send me a message through the contact form or via email and I will double check your package before I send to make sure everything is up to date. Better safe than sorry! International customers – please make sure you enter a phone number! If you do not have a phone number on your PayPal subscription it may slow your package down if it gets stuck in customs and they have no way to reach you.

I paid but I haven’t received a shipment yet!

You must subscribe and payment must be made by the 25th of the month to get next month’s mailing. If you did and something has gone awry, contact me and I will look into it. Here are the payment & estimated shipping schedules for 2010-2011:

Packages sent to Canada & Internationally may take up to 4 weeks to arrive via 1st Class Mail. Typically they do not get delayed for this long but please be aware that the USPS does not consider this delay unusual, especially if there is a delay in customs. Expedited shipping & tracking can be ordered for significant additional costs. Please contact me if you are interested in this service.

I want more of a colorway!

Club members can order additional skeins of club colorways for up to two months after shipment. After two months, I cannot guarantee that I will have the dye to match dyelots. Click here to enter the member area to order more.

I don’t like this month’s colorway!

I’m sorry you are disappointed with your club package. You might be able to initiate a trade on Ravelry for a colorway you prefer more, check out the Nerd Girl Yarns group and post a message requesting a trade. Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds or returns on club yarns – they are dyed to order and are special colorways for the club. While I do hope you fall in love with your club package, everyone won’t like everything when each month is a surprise. Please see the info above if you wish to cancel your membership.

I still don’t get it, what do I get in the club?

Each month members will receive a luscious hand dyed skein of yummy yarn in an exclusive fandom colorway that won’t be available in the shop for six months, if at all! The yarns will be from the Nerd Girl Yarns collections of more luxurious bases and each skein is enough yarn to make an average sized pair of socks, gloves, mitts, or shawlette. Subscribers also get 10% off additional purchases at Nerd Girl Yarns (excludes club purchases and shipping) while members when they use the code sockclub at checkout.
