About the Yarn

I dye my colorways with several different processes: immersion kettle dyeing, hand painting, low immersion kettle dyeing, and overdyeing. All dyes used on Nerd Girl Yarns products are professional colorfast acid dyes. Some colors such as saturated reds, pinks, and bright to turquoise blues may bleed in the wash. This is normal for textile dyes that are of these saturated shades.
