This colorway is the red channel 3D effect for crafters who want a more controlled modular or stripe pattern from 3D effect yarn. To get the effect you will also need the blue channel as well as a base color such as a grey in Don't Blink (silver colorway).
But isn't yarn already 3D? The 3D of the yarn colorway essentially gives a cool effect to knitting and crocheting that standard colorways do not by enhancing simple patterns or creating new effects in modular ones. Each channel color is available separately. When you put on the anaglyphic glasses one eye will filter the red, one the blue and your brain will recompile the image into a 3D like effect.
Variegated 3D effect yarn is also available.
One pair of 3D glasses is included with each order. If you are ordering enough yarn for more than one project, please specify an additional pair of glasses in the comments before you complete your order.
This colorway is part of our dyed to order colorway service. You chose the colorway and the yarn base and your order is dyed
just for you. Dyeing our colorways to order allows you to get exactly what yarn base you want in exactly the quantity you need in the same dyelot.
